We are proud to announce a community food drive to benefit the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank. The food drive started 12/1 and runs to 12/17 and aims to collect non-perishable food items to help those in need this holiday season.
"We are committed to giving back to our community and believe that everyone deserves access to healthy food," said Dr. Brent Lenz. "We encourage everyone to join us in supporting the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank and helping those facing food insecurity."
Donations can be dropped off at the Bluestone Orthodontics office located at 1500 Brookhaven Dr., Harrisonburg during regular business hours. The most needed items include:
- Canned goods (vegetables, fruits, soups, beans)
- Proteins (peanut butter, canned meats, canned or dried beans)
- Pasta and rice
- Cereal
- Granola bars
- Meal Makers (soups, stews, chilis, pasta sauce)
